Organisation: The Royal Children's Hospital Occupation: Medical and Nursing Reference: 12278 The Role: This is a Fixed-Term, Full-Time position at 80 hours per fortnight within Gatehouse's community services in Werribee and Melton and at RCH in Parkville.
You will provide therapeutic and support services within a trauma model of recovery, for children and young people who have experienced sexual violence, or have engaged in harmful or problematic sexual behaviour, and their non-offending family members.
You will also be responsible for contributing to the Intake Team by receiving and responding to referrals for service, inquiries regarding child sexual abuse, harmful sexual behaviour and crisis care presentations and be required to participate in the after-hours crisis care roster.
What You'll Achieve: Delivery of quality and evidence-based assessment, therapeutic interventions and support for children/young people who have experienced sexual violence or engaged in harmful/problematic sexual behaviour and their family members Contribution to a culture of open and effective communication, teamwork and lifelong learning Development and maintenance of positive relationships with a variety of internal and external stakeholders Classification for this position will range from Social Worker Grade 2, Years 1-4 (SC21 – SC24), Psychology Grade 2, Years 1-4 (PK1 – PK4) or Occupational Therapy Grade 2, Years 1-4 (VF6 – VF9).
