The Role This role reports to the CEO, sits on Purearth Food's Senior Leadership Team and will be pivotal in shaping the future strategy, continuously improving operating processes and outcomes, and contributing to the strong organisational culture.
Lead and manage a team of 7 direct reports and approximately 60 individuals across Production, Engineering, S&OP, Procurement, and Logistics Oversee P&L management and CAPEX spending, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on enhancing quality, productivity, safety, and customer centricity.
Provide hands-on leadership while operating strategically at the SLT level.
Collaborate closely with all layers of the team to build in-house capabilities and ensure operational excellence.
Manage and engage with senior stakeholders internal and external.
High level of customer engagement and a critical role in supporting new business development.
Skills & Experience Extensive experience in leading operations within the Dairy industry; UHT experience is strongly preferred.
Proven track record in managing end-to-end operations, within a complex manufacturing environment.
An energetic, approachable, hands-on leadership style coupled with a high level of professionalism.
Expertise in change management and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
A proven track record of successfully identifying areas of impact and driving results.
Experience in managing senior stakeholders and reporting at a c-suite and board level.
Background in larger FMCG/dairy businesses is advantageous, provided you can demonstrate a hands-on, self-sufficient approach.
