Geological Designer/Modeller

Seeking a talented Geological Designer/Modeller to join our Geo-environmental team in Melbourne.

What You'll Do: As a Geological Designer/Modeller, you will be crucial in developing and managing geotechnical and geological models for various infrastructure projects.
Your responsibilities will include: Geotechnical Modelling: Prepare and refine 3 D geotechnical and geological models, ensuring accuracy from concept through to detailed design and construction stages.
Drawing Preparation: Create and update civil and geotechnical drawings, integrating details from sketches and performing necessary calculations.
Technical Reporting: Develop geological and geotechnical figures for reports and presentations, ensuring clarity and precision.
Specifications and Quantities: Contribute to the preparation of technical specifications and bills of quantities.
Core Skills and Qualifications: Educational Background: Bachelor's Degree in Geology (desirable) or a relevant certificate/degree in Civil Engineering, Computer Aided Design, or equivalent.
Experience: Experienced in a relevant field, with proven drafting skills and experience with Auto CAD, Civil 3 D, and other 3 D application packages.
Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering and geology, with the ability to apply this knowledge to various projects.
Personal Attributes: Capable of managing self effectively under pressure, open to feedback, and committed to presenting a professional image.
Excellent time management and communication skills are essential.
