Grants Officer

Mansfield Shire Council is looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and community focused individual to take up the role of Grants Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for effectively undertaking the preparation of funding submissions, administration of grants and contributions as well as the initial investigation and recommendation of funding opportunities to increase income for the Shire from external sources.
Reporting to the Coordinator of Economic Development, the Grants Officer's responsibilities include day-to-day work with internal departments regarding concept proposals, delivery of proposals, and writing submissions for grants for projects. The candidate should also possess the ability to effectively identify grant opportunities and attract funding through subscribing to State and Federal Government grant registers and media statements.
Remuneration will be based on Band 6 classification, $84,615.18 (pro rata) annually ($42.8214 per hour) plus superannuation according to the Mansfield Shire Council Enterprise Agreement 2022.
