Reporting to the Group General Manager HSW, you will drive design, development, audit, assurance monitoring, and continuous improvement of the health, safety, and environment (HSE) management system. Compilation of data and information for company reporting to the Executive & Board will also form part of your responsibilities. Key responsibilities Develop, coordinate, and execute plans for EHS Management Systems and the enterprise critical risk profile, with a focus on continuous improvement. Partner with relevant internal and external stakeholders to drive the implementation of the continuous improvement of the system. Manage, review, and continuously improve EHS IT management systems designed to support systematic management of events. Ensure systems are audited to provide assurance to the Executive team and Board. Achieve and maintain ISO 14001 & 45001 accreditations. Support and champion due diligence requirements through system design and improvements. Develop review activities to manage systems improvement opportunities. Manage and improve EHS IT management systems (MYOSH). Prepare reports on EHS management system health, critical control effectiveness, event/injury data, and audit status. Support EHS managers in reporting and action management. Design and monitor key EHS metrics. About You You will have proven and demonstrated experience as a senior manager in the Health, Safety, and Wellbeing space, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing. This role requires a strong focus on governance, systems & assurance, and a passion for leading from the front. Training/certification in Safety, Environmental Science, Social Sciences, and CSR. Proven track record of developing, implementing, and measuring safety and environmental compliance programs and management systems. Understanding of how a health, safety, and environment strategy is executed at a site and business level. Strong business partnering abilities to build relationships and influence others.
