Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is currently looking for a dedicated Haematology Clinical Coordinator to contribute to the continuum of care for consumers diagnosed or under current investigation of haematology conditions.
This position is on a part-time, ongoing basis of 56 hours per fortnight.
The Haematology Clinical Coordinator will provide support and advice to hospital staff and community care providers on aspects of care management.
The Haematology Clinical Coordinator will deliver consumer, Health Care Workers and community education including ongoing support to the Chemotherapy Day Unit for haematology patients.
About you Ideal candidates for this role will have: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with AHPRA.
At least three (3) years' experience in Haematology and/or Oncology Nursing or a Postgraduate qualification in a relevant topic of study.
Excellent communication and time management skills.
The ability to advocate for patient choices.
The ability to support Haematology Clinical Trials.
