About the role
Leading independent girls' school, Camberwell Girls Grammar School, presents an opportunity for a Careers Professional to join our team in a part-time (0.8 FTE) or full-time (which may include a 0.2 FTE teaching load for VIT registered applicants), 5-year tenured capacity. The role will commence at the start of the 2025 academic year and non-VIT members are encouraged to apply.
CGGS staff have an excellent understanding of effective pedagogical practices with strong interpersonal and communication skills. A passion for girls' education is essential for your success.
About you
You will be an enthusiastic and experienced Careers Professional who will guide and inspire our students to explore their career journeys and aspirations. Previous experience within a school environment is highly desirable including experience of:
Delivery of a Career Education program
Careers counselling in the areas of subject selection, career development and tertiary course selection
Managing and facilitating a Work Experience Program
Developing and delivering course, careers and pathways counselling
Tertiary qualifications in Careers Education, or similar
Current Working with Children Check
Current National Criminal History Police Check
VIT Registration (desirable not essential)
