Hybrid/WFH options The Organisation Our client is an innovative Not for Profit organisation and one of 's largest peak bodies in its sector, with a large focus on training, development, and advocacy.
The Position Reporting directly to the relevant General Manager, the Head of Communications will work closely with that manager, and the Communications, Membership, Policy, Research, and Services teams to design, develop, and implement a program of work to raise and strengthen the profile of the sector.
Responsible for leading and supporting the Communications team, you will also develop communication and media strategies that are focused on creating stronger engagement and influence with all key stakeholders, including Government, funders, research partners, and members.
The Key Result Areas are: Brand awareness and exposure Events/Activities Engage with stakeholders Regular and ad hoc reporting Leadership and guidance The Person To be successful in this role you will have: Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (e.g.
communications, journalism, or PR) Demonstrable relevant experience, ideally including within the public or community sector Ability to present complex information in a clear and engaging way, across a range of formats Experience successfully developing strategic goals into actionable projects, strategies, and implementation plans, including managing multiple, and sometimes competing priorities Ability to understand data and gain key insights from data and research to develop communications strategies What's on offer The opportunity to create meaningful change and to contribute to the overall success of this NFP community Peak Body.
