With demonstrated 10 plus years' experience in financial crime intelligence, investigations, operations in either law enforcement, AUSTRAC and / or an international or domestic financial institution you have expert knowledge and demonstrated skill in financial crime intelligence and investigations.
You know what good looks like and how to deliver it and we want you to bring to this role prior experience creating and delivering innovative strategies.
Your experience leading teams includes delivering change to teams and business processes and you have a focus on fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
A skilled communicator, you have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to engage, influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders, industry peers, regulators and law enforcement.
As the Head of FCR Intelligence you'll get to: Lead a small team of specialists to deliver data led intelligence products for the management of financial crime risk internally and externally to the Bank: this includes the provision of intelligence led threat assessments, investigations, risk identification and quality written reports and recommendations for internal detection / control uplifts and / or external dissemination to AUSTRAC / law enforcement.
Create and deliver the strategy for this newly created function that will be key as we continue to move to a greater intelligence led approach.
Maintain a highly visible presence within the Group to enhance engagement and awareness of financial crime risk management, and across the industry to advocate for the bank and deliver shared solutions.
This is a full-time, permanent position which can be based in Melbourne, Bendigo, Adelaide, Sydney or Brisbane.
