Waverley Christian College is a forward thinking and culturally diverse Christian co-educational school from Kinder to Year 12.
We have been providing students with a quality Christian educational experience for over 45 years.
With campuses in Wantirna South and Narre Warren South, Waverley Christian College has an enrolment of over 2400 students with 400 staff across both campuses in 2024.
The Wantirna South Campus is seeking a full-time Head of Humanities to commence in January 2025.
We are seeking a candidate who will embody our College values and demonstrate a passion for inspiring and equipping students to reach their full potential.
In this role, you will lead and nurture a dedicated team focused on enhancing the teaching and learning experience within the Humanities curriculum.
You will utilise and further develop your leadership skills while providing professional support and resources to your team.

The successful applicant must: Be a qualified teacher and hold a current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) Be able to exemplify Humanities teaching excellence and lead a team of teachers that teach Humanities Have current First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Certificate or be willing to obtain these prior to commencement.
Be able to show a commitment to the values and ethos of Christian education.
Be willing to get involved in all aspects of the College's programs and opportunities.
Have high level communication and interpersonal skills.
