Permanent / Full Time Applications Close: Tuesday, 8 October, 2024 The role Full Time, Ongoing position Closing Date: 8 October 2024 As the Head of Interschool Sport, you will lead the strategic direction and operations of MLC's Year 5-12 Interschool Sport programs.
You will manage and enhance our diverse sporting offerings, introduce a new sportswomen's support program, and provide professional development for coaching staff.
You will play a pivotal role in promoting healthy lifestyles and ensuring our students achieve their sporting potential.
Some of your primary duties and responsibilities will include: Overseeing the Year 5-12 Interschool Sport programs, including GSV and SSV participation.
Leading the design and implementation of MLC's sportswomen's support program.
Developing and delivering a staff education program for all Interschool Sport coaches.
Managing the budget, compliance, and risk for all Interschool Sport activities.
Collaborating with the Director of Sport and coaching staff to enhance student participation.
Coaching a team each term and mentoring students within the wellbeing program.

About You Tertiary qualifications in a related field.
Strong leadership and motivation skills, with the ability to inspire diverse teams.
Innovative and passionate about sport and promoting healthy lifestyles.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across a range of stakeholders.
Skilled in managing budgets, finances, and operations within a sports context.
Proven experience in sports management and administration.
Proficient with technology for sports management.
Current Working With Children Check and a strong understanding of Child Safe Standards.
