Seeking a seasoned IT leader to drive technology strategy and innovation at Greening Australia, a national not-for-profit dedicated to restoring Australia's diverse landscapes and protecting biodiversity.
Reporting to the CFO, the Head of IT will be responsible for: Developing and implementing the company's technology strategy Aligning technology initiatives with business objectives Identifying and evaluating emerging technologies to enhance business operations Leading, mentoring, and managing the technology and spatial teams Fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement Managing technology projects from inception to completion Overseeing the maintenance and security of the company's IT infrastructure Ensuring the reliability and performance of all technology systems Developing and managing the technology budget Managing relationships with technology vendors and service providers Optimising technology spending and investments Identifying, assessing, and prioritising cyber security risks and implementing and maintaining robust cybersecurity measures Conducting regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability assessments Defining and implementing best practice IT policies and procedures Defining and maintaining the IT Risk Register The successful applicant will ideally possess: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field Minimum 10 years of experience in leading teams and managing IT systems in a complex ICT environment Proven experience in a senior technology leadership role Demonstrated experience in managing IT infrastructure and services Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies Demonstrated experience in project management and IT service management Demonstrated knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and compliance requirements Strong people management, relationship and stakeholder management, and communication skills Experience presenting to Boards, sharing information with industry peers, and building relationships with external stakeholders Experience implementing an e Commerce platform Providing technology thought leadership and continuous improvement to ensure understanding and/or implementation of the latest technology trends and tools Ability to mentor and develop technical staff Strong decision-making and written communication skills Demonstrated skills in contract administration and monitoring Knowledge of the not-for-profit sector and agriculture sector is desirable Exposure to working with Adobe Commerce is desirable #J-18808-Ljbffr
