ABOUT THE ROLE
As our Head of IT Systems & Infrastructure, you will lead a geographically dispersed team of level 3 IT professionals (engineers/architects) responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex IT systems and infrastructure. Technologies you will be working with day-to-day include:
Microsoft 365
Autotask PSA
Veeam
Fortinet
HPE Aruba
You will lead from the front – overseeing the team's day-to-day operations as well as applying your technical expertise in the design and delivery of solutions for our diverse range of clients and supporting organisations IT Strategies and Initiatives.
Reporting to the General Manager – Customer Success, this senior level 3 position is a key role, joining a collaborative and supportive leadership team.
You will be responsible for:
Mentoring, providing technical expertise and review to the team to ensure high performance and ongoing professional development.
Encouraging innovation and improvement, adopting new technologies and processes to improve efficiency.
Overseeing the planning and execution of technology projects, ensuring they align with client's objectives and are delivered on time and within budget.
Identifying potential risks and implementing security measures to protect all organisations IT infrastructure.
Mentoring and developing team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment, and ensuring the team's technical skills remain current. Managing resources, setting performance goals, and conducting regular performance reviews.
ABOUT YOU
At least 5 years' experience in successfully leading a technical team (senior engineers, architects or similar) within a Managed Service Provider (MSP).
You are a strong leader who leads by example, working collaboratively, openly, honestly with others.
Hold a relevant degree in IT or related field or significant experience in the field.
Strong understanding of IT infrastructure.
Strong service delivery experience and ITIL knowledge.
Excellent communication, customer service, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of management and project stakeholders.
You are a pragmatic thinker and eager to investigate solutions.
