About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Marketing & CX to lead our marketing division through a pivotal transformation. You will be responsible for driving the integration of our marketing teams, enhancing digital capabilities, and developing strategies to retain and grow our member base. Reporting to the Chief Experience Officer, this role will give you the opportunity to shape the future of the organisation's marketing efforts while managing a talented team of 16 marketing professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership & Integration: Lead, integrate, and empower three distinct marketing teams (Member Marketing, Distribution Marketing, Digital Marketing) to function as one cohesive unit, delivering strong marketing outcomes.
Capability Assessment & Development: Conduct a thorough capability review within the marketing team, identifying areas for improvement and driving skill development, particularly in digital channels.
Digital Strategy & Execution: Oversee the integration of digital assets (member portal, digital forms, website) to ensure alignment across functions, focusing on end-to-end strategy from planning to execution.
Member Retention Focus: Leverage data and insights to enhance member retention strategies, addressing churn, and developing long-term plans to boost member engagement.
Strategic Leadership: Set and drive the marketing division's strategic direction, ensuring alignment with broader organisational goals.
Execution of Marketing Programs: Take over and elevate the existing marketing work program, ensuring year-end targets are met while building a roadmap for future initiatives.
Key Skills & Experience:
Extensive experience in a senior marketing role, preferably within financial services or superannuation.
Strong leadership and team integration skills, with a track record of successfully managing and aligning multiple marketing teams.
Expertise in digital marketing strategy, including experience with member portals, digital forms, and website management.
Proven ability to develop and execute marketing strategies focused on member retention and growth.
Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and align marketing efforts with strategic goals.
Exceptional stakeholder management skills, particularly in managing relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders.
