Compliance & Risk (Banking & Financial Services) Full time Are you passionate about Risk Management? About the role As Head of Risk, reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, this is a pivotal role where you will engage with the executive management team, their senior leaders and key stakeholders across the business to design, implement and embed Bank First's Risk Management Framework. As a natural people leader, you will lead, grow and develop a Risk Management team that is effective and high performing. You will work closely with the CRO in delivering an efficient, practical and contemporary design of the risk management framework. This strategy cultivates the desired organisational risk culture across Bank First which empowers the business to protect our Members, People and the Bank through effective frameworks, policies, awareness, processes and monitoring. About you You have demonstrated experience of engaging partners across a business to successfully embed risk management within a business. You love leading teams, taking them along the journey, developing them and bringing out the best in your team. Experience influencing and engaging all levels to cultivate an organisational risk culture. You are familiar with contemporary risk management practices, control testing and assurance practices and general risk tools and techniques and how to effectively apply these in an organisation such as Bank First. Your exceptional verbal and written communication skills are crucial in this role along with your experience working with Boards and Board Committees in delivery of Risk Management. You are tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline, such as risk management, commerce or economics, with relevant post-graduate qualifications in risk management highly desired.
