Your Role & Team We are now ready to launch our Head of Sales Operations role into the business.
As part of this role, you will oversee and optimise the sales and customer processes, tools and strategies to ensure the sales team and wider business operate efficiently and effectively.
In addition, the role will also focus on tasks such as process automation, sales commission management, performance reporting and other administrative tasks to ensure continuous improvement of key business metrics and KPIs.
This role reports directly to our General Manager, Customer Experience and is a full-time opportunity offering hybrid working conditions based out of our Melbourne CBD office.
Some of your responsibilities include: Develop, refine, and document sales processes to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability.
Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the sales team and operations.
Design and administer sales compensation plans, including commissions, bonuses, and incentives, to motivate the sales team.
Identify training needs and work with sales enablement teams to ensure the sales team has the necessary skills and knowledge.
Work closely with marketing, finance, product, and customer success teams to align sales operations with other departments.
Provide support to the sales team by removing operational obstacles and ensuring they have the resources needed to succeed.
Oversee the use and maintenance of our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and other sales tools.
Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance the sales process and improve data accuracy and accessibility.
Meet KPIs specifically related to completing administration tasks within an agreed time frame.
Identify, develop and implement new or enhanced sales policies, procedures, and best practices.
Our ideal candidate To be successful in the role, you'll ideally have strong experience working within a Software as a Service (Saa S) or related Tech environment with a focus on sales contract management and effectiveness (ie.
sales commission structures, sales processes).
You'll score extra points if you've worked within an organisation with a subscription-based revenue model.
You're strategic in your approach, being able to translate customer and internal requirements into business system and process outputs.
You'll be innovative, autonomous, have proven thought leadership, all whilst being a strong operator - yes, this will be a 'roll up your sleeves and get your hands dirty' type of role.
