Head Of Strength & Conditioning Sports Academy Coach

The Opportunity We are seeking a Casual Head of Strength & Conditioning Sports Academy Coach.
This position will commence in November 2024 for our early commencement program.
Why choose to work at Notre Dame College: Notre Dame Sports Academy was established to help talented student athletes achieve peak performance in their many sports while also assisting them with their personal education and career development.
In 2025 the Notre Dame Sports Academy will be available for students in year 8, 9, 10, and 11.
Selected students will have access to weekly strength and conditioning sessions, fortnightly skill sessions in their chosen sport, sports dietician information plus much more.
You Will: The successful candidate will have the following demonstrated knowledge and experience: Current Working with Children Check and National Criminal History Check.
Completed or currently completing a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science (highly desirable).
Level 1 ASCA or working towards/willing to obtain (Mandatory).
Current First Aid and CPR.
Demonstrated ability to develop effective strength and conditioning programs with a Long Term Athletic Development focus.
Demonstrated sport and/or fitness industry experience including commercial facility or school program including Youth Academy or high performance settings.
Established coaching skills inclusive of excellent communication, instructional skills, voice projection and developing rapport/relationships.
Excellent organisational and management skills.
Demonstration of a high-performance mindset and the willingness to learn.
