With proven leadership, you will manage local and global dealing desk staff across 5 countries. This dynamic leadership position will involve you in areas of the business ranging from Liquidity/Trade Management, Client Trading Conditions, Proprietary Trading, B2B discussions & 3rd party Risk Software.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for managing the dealing desk including exposure/trade risk management, liquidity provider relations as well as optimising trading conditions and ensuring all regulatory requirements are adhered to.
Running of Global day-to-day trading Risk functions for all Markets including FX, Indices, Commodities, Stocks and Crypto CFDs
Work with key stakeholders to build out and improve current risk/trading infrastructure
Managing projects aimed at improving overall functionality/efficiency of trading desk
Management of local / global staff members in the Risk Department
Working collaboratively with local / global staff members to ensure there is 24/7 coverage of the trading desk
Monitoring of price feeds and working with Head of Operations to ensure optimal trading conditions are met
Preparing reports and briefing CEO and Head of Trading & Execution on newly identified/evolving scenarios
Collaborating with Liquidity Providers and other third party technology providers
Managing overall company exposure Limits through the use of hedging and other strategies
Managing client risk and identifying unfavorable trading behaviors
Working in partnership with other departments to ensure company wide implementation of risk initiatives
MT4/MT5/DX Platform Administration
Who are you?
3+ years experience in financial services on Trading Desk or similar
Strong mathematical / analytical skills
Experience with trading platforms as well as bridge and liquidity providers
Strong leadership and management experience
Ability to quickly analyse, consider and take action
Previous experience with risk / exposure management
Experience with third party risk software
Strong project management skills and high level stake holder interactions
Experience in financial risk modelling
