What You'll Do As our Health and Safety Specialist, you'll: Partner with line leaders to implement and comply with the Cement Australia Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality Management System (SHEQMS).
Stay ahead of regulatory changes and keep leadership informed of key developments affecting operations in VIC and SA.
Develop site-specific processes and documentation, ensuring smooth and safe operations across our facilities.
Support the internal Group SHEQ audit program through local audits and inspections, driving continuous improvement.
Proactively engage with workers, HSRs, SHE Committee members, and line leaders to build a culture of safety and accountability.
What You'll Bring We are looking for an experienced professional with: Extensive experience in health and safety roles within transportation, waste/dangerous goods, manufacturing, or mining sectors.
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and regulatory requirements.
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (chemistry, engineering, environment, safety, or occupational health).
Diploma qualifications will also be considered.
Cert IV in training and assessment (desirable).
Lead Auditor or ICAM investigation experience (desirable).
Return to Work Coordinator experience (desirable).
