Human Resources Officer

Position Overview A 12-month Fixed Term, Part-Time (0.6 or 0.8 FTE) role for an experienced HR Officer to provide Maternity Leave Cover at a leading not-for-profit organization.
Suitable for a generalist Human Resources Officer who brings both HR expertise and a mature, open-minded approach to the sensitive nature of our work.
Requirements Minimum 3 years HR generalist experience in Australia Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Experience in the health sector essential Salary $82,000 full-time equivalent (pro rata) + NFP salary packaging Location Eastern Suburbs Melbourne VIC Your normal day will involve: Point of contact for all HR-related enquiries and providing people management support Coordinating employee lifecycle processes, from recruitment to onboarding Leading Workplace Health and Safety initiatives Developing and communicating HR policies and maintaining compliance Managing the HRIS system (Employment Hero) and assisting managers with workforce planning You will need: 3-4 years of experience in a similar HR generalist role Experience with HRIS systems (Employment Hero highly regarded) Tertiary qualifications in HR or a related field Demonstrated experience in employee lifecycle and stakeholder management Strong communication and organizational skills Experience with HR technology and legislative compliance Job benefits include: Flexible working hours and Hybrid work options Salary packaging benefits (up to $15,000 tax-free annually) Friendly and supportive team culture Convenient location with public transport access and on-site parking #J-18808-Ljbffr
