As the Identity Engineer, you are a highly customer service focused individual who enjoys solving problems and working with stakeholders.
You will continually challenge the status quo and look to present options to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of systems and support for the team.
What you'll do This role contributes to the design and implementation of identity and authentication workflows and integrations for applications used by the organisation.
Work with business and technology stakeholders to ensure optimal solutions are designed and business outcomes are achieved.
Analyse and resolve problems, including root cause analysis, while adhering to incident, problem, and change management protocols and schedules.
Proactively look for opportunities to optimise and improve application/system performance and efficiency.
Produce detailed technical documentation around Identity Solutions and Architecture.
Who we're looking for: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, Comp TIA Security+) are a plus.
Proven experience (5+ years) designing, implementing, and managing identity and access management solutions in enterprise environments.
Hands-on experience with IAM platforms and tools (e.g.
Okta, Entra ID/Azure AD, Oracle OAM, Oracle OID).
Experience with OKTA - 3+ years is mandatory.
Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Terraform, Python, Java, Power Shell) for automation and integration purposes.
In-depth knowledge of identity protocols and standards such as OAuth, Open ID Connect, SAML, LDAP, and Kerberos.
Experience assisting developers with their identity and access management requirements.
