The ELC Lunchtime Assistant role will work 2 days per week, from 11am to 2pm, on Tuesdays, and 12pm-2pm on Thursdays. The role will commence in Term 1, 2025. Expressions of interest are also sought from suitable candidates for casual ELC Co-Educator work.Reporting to the Head of ELC, you will be joining a team that is collaborative and supports the provision of exceptional educational care for children and families. Applicants must be suitably qualified, and experienced, with the ability to work well in a team to create a vibrant and supportive environment. Knowledge of the Reggio Emilia philosophy is highly desirable.The ELC Lunchtime Assistant will provide assistance with lunchtime set up, clean up, and supervision. The role involves preparation of the siesta area and supervising the transition to siesta, including supervision of the bathroom routine, and settling the children into their beds. To be successful in this opportunity you will require: Must have a Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services (or an equivalent recognised qualification). Excellent organisation and communication skills. A strong knowledge and understanding of the Reggio Emilia philosophy and the National Quality Framework. Ability to be proactive and take initiative. Maintain a standard of professional appearance. An ability to work in a team, demonstrating flexibility and co-operation. Current First Aid Training (HLTAID012 or equivalent).
