The role An exciting opportunity as an Innovation Coordinator working in the Research and Development team at South East Water (SEW) is now available! Reporting to the Innovation Manager, you will work in collaboration to build capability, internal culture, tools and outcomes to help SEW deliver its vision to 'Innovate with Purpose'.
The below responsibilities will form part of this new role: Developing peer relationships within the water industry and with external partners as required to share learnings, data and insights linked to developing a culture of innovation.
Attending conferences, workshops and events.
Aligning and integrating innovation projects with other strategic objectives of SEW.
Leading the delivery of forums and workshops to enable 'innovation in the everyday' through the adoption and socialisation of innovation mindsets and tools.
Working with internal stakeholders to scope and deliver concepts or ideas identified through the annual Innovation Pathway process.
With guidance from the Innovation Manager, project managing the delivery of these concepts or ideas, including presenting concepts to management and suggesting future actions.
Who are you? The ideal candidate for the Innovation Coordinator role is energised by taking concepts and turning them into real projects that help the business.

They enjoy seeing the work they deliver with others make a real difference for the company.
Interested candidates will require the following skills, knowledge and experience: At least two years' experience managing and governing strategically significant projects in a corporate environment; an understanding of regulated environments is preferred but not essential.
Diploma certification in business, marketing, communications, but open to all qualifications with demonstrated relevant experience.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated ability to collaborate, negotiate, and drive for results in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Experience in taking a lead role in developing and implementing processes and tools, preferably within the context of innovation or Human Centred Design methodology.

We're accepting applications for this exciting opportunity until Sunday 20 October 2024! This role is remunerated at a Level 4, which is between $101,563 and $114,918 + super and offers are commensurate with the successful candidates' experience.
South East Water operates a 24/7 service environment.
Whilst this role does not involve after-hours rostered duty, all employees may be required to provide out of hours support from time to time as required.
