Interim Chief Executive Officer

Horsham Rural City Council is seeking an Interim Chief Executive Officer while recruitment for a CEO is undertaken.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience as a CEO or has acted as a CEO in local government, particularly with experience in onboarding a new Council after Council elections.
We are only seeking expressions of interest from candidates who are readily available to start.
The Interim CEO will be appointed for a period of up to 12 months or until the commencement of a permanent CEO, whichever occurs first.
This role will fulfill the responsibilities outlined in the Chief Executive Officer position description.
