This position would suit a qualified professional with proven public practice, taxation, and portfolio management experience.

About the Position: Whilst not exhaustive, the Intermediate/Senior Accountant is primarily responsible for: Preparation of Income Tax Returns for Individuals, Partnerships, Companies, and Trusts Preparation of Financial Statements for the same Review of the above plus BAS and IASs for junior and offshore staff members Review of SMSF Financial Statements and handle auditor queries for same Exposure to a variety of taxation matters including GST, CGT, FBT, Division 7 A etc Collaborate on Tax Planning and other ad hoc consulting and advisory engagements Liaising with clients and external agencies Provide ad hoc accounting, taxation, and bookkeeping support to clients The Ideal Candidate: Hold an Accounting degree Be in the process of or have a desire to complete your CA qualification Minimum 3 years of local business service/public practice experience Exceptional verbal communication and written skills Organised approach to work with a high level of attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs Xero and MYOB experience A desire and enjoyment of being part of and contributing to a fun and inclusive office culture What's on Offer: $90,000 - $100,000 plus superannuation Working from Home (up to two days per week) Birthday off as additional leave Free Parking on site Quarterly staff functions 9 Day working fortnights Shortlisting will begin once applications are received.
