Due to growth, the team is looking to hire an Investment Banking Associate to help them execute a strong pipeline of deals.
Although they're sector generalists, they're particularly strong in the infrastructure sector and would like to see candidates with this sector experience.
You will have experience in M&A, either from a boutique advisory firm, bulge bracket or similar.
The Responsibilities Of This Role Include Conduct in-depth financial analysis of companies and industries, including financial statement modelling, valuation, and comparable company analysis.
Analyse financial data to assess the financial health and performance of clients and potential investment opportunities.
Assist in the execution of various financial transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, initial public offerings (IPOs), debt and equity offerings, leveraged buyouts, and restructuring activities.
Collaborate with senior bankers and other team members to prepare transaction-related documents, presentations, and financial models.
Stay up to date with market trends, industry developments, and economic conditions that may impact clients' businesses or investment decisions.
Conduct research and gather relevant data to support the origination and execution of transactions.
Prepare reports and presentations to communicate research findings to internal teams and clients.
Assist in conducting due diligence activities, including gathering and analysing relevant information about target companies, conducting industry research, and identifying potential risks and opportunities associated with transactions.
Prepare due diligence reports and support senior bankers in evaluating the findings.
Build and maintain relationships with clients, including corporate executives, institutional investors, and other stakeholders.
Interact with clients to understand their financial needs, provide advisory services, and support business development initiatives.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including senior bankers, analysts, legal professionals, and other internal and external stakeholders.
Coordinate and manage work streams, ensuring timely completion of deliverables and seamless execution of transactions.
The ideal candidate will have: Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field (Master's degree preferred) Prior experience in investment banking, corporate finance, or related financial services roles Strong financial modelling and analytical skills Proficiency in financial research and data analysis tools Excellent written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Proactive, self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment Knowledge of industry regulations and financial markets Would you like to hear more?
