As we continue to excel in the industry, we seek an experienced Dealership Fleet Sales Manager to join our esteemed team.
In this role, you will oversee a team of approximately 10 retail and fleet sales professionals, the Business Manager, stock controllers, and admin.
As a Heavy Vehicle Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include: Leading and managing the truck sales department, overseeing all sales activities and strategies.
Developing and implementing effective sales plans to achieve revenue targets, GP and drive business growth.
Building and maintaining solid client relationships, including fleet operators, businesses, and government agencies.
Identifying new sales opportunities and expanding the customer base through proactive networking and lead generation.
Providing guidance and support to the sales team, ensuring they have the tools and training to succeed.
Monitoring sales performance, analysing market trends, and identifying areas for improvement or adjustment in sales strategies.
Working with the stock coordination team, overseeing stock availability, deliveries, body builds, and end-of-month processes.
Collaborating with customer care to elevate our customer experience, providing 5-star service and retention.
Developing and executing impactful promotional campaigns and initiatives with the marketing team.
You will come with: Proven experience in truck sales within the dealership environment.
Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team.
Proven track record of operating in a volume sales environment.
Technically minded with a strong understanding of truck sales coordination, body builds and compliance.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and maintain client relationships.
Results-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
Familiarity with CRM software and other sales tools to effectively manage leads, contacts, and sales pipelines.
