Join the team Are you ready to embark on an exciting journey within our Stores Technology team? The Target and Kmart Stores team is responsible for the technology that powers more than 350 Kmart and Target stores throughout Australia and New Zealand, placing products that delight our customers on shelves and maintaining the quality and stability of our critical store systems.
As an Iteration Manager, you will join the team to work closely with our Engineers, acting as the bridge to a diverse group of stakeholders and allowing the Delivery Team to create technology solutions that will transform our in-store systems, with a particular focus on our Point-of-Sales (POS) hardware.
What you'll be doing Leading sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to enhance team collaboration and efficiency.
Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our in-store technology is fit for purpose and aligned with project goals, priorities, and timelines.
Championing Agile and Scrum principles within the team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and providing guidance and coaching to team members on best practices.
Identifying and addressing impediments to team progress, promoting a solutions-oriented mindset among team members and advocating for the team within the larger technology group.
To be successful in this role you'll have: Significant demonstrable experience working in structured Agile teams as an Iteration Manager or Scrum Master, embodying Agile Scrum values of focus, courage, openness, commitment, and respect.
The ability to motivate and lead teams, driving change and inspiring a positive, collaborative work environment.
Experience using Jira and Confluence.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate a given problem to all levels across the business.
Significant experience working in a large organisation, preferably retail.
Strong attention to detail and a rigorous focus on delivering quality output.
