Add expected salary to your profile for insights We are seeking an outstanding HSEQ professional for this key leadership role, responsible for developing and executing Health, Safety, Environment and Quality strategies in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction, vision and mission. Key accountabilities: Continuously develop, implement, assess, and review health and safety, environment and quality management plans and strategies, policies, procedures and documentation. Identify areas for improvement, prioritise actions, develop necessary documents, systems and programs, and provide training to operational teams. Report on all safety-related metrics and write professional correspondence to regulatory agents and senior management as required. Lead compliance with and continuous improvement of Kinetic's Total Quality Management Systems, ensuring policies and procedures are followed and controls are in place to manage risk. Drive incident & risk management processes through coaching and support to ensure timely reporting, recording, investigation, closing of corrective actions and sharing of learnings within the group. Collaborate with Training and Development teams to create, develop, and conduct workshops for safety program topics such as incident analysis/prevention, safety policies/procedures, regulatory compliance, safety training as required by law. Ensure injury management and rehabilitation systems are in place and individual cases are proactively managed, including both workers' compensation claims and non-work related injuries. What you will bring: Bachelor in related discipline or substantial relevant experience. Experience as a HSEQ leader with proven experience in senior roles. Extensive knowledge of legislation relevant to port/rail operations. Experience working with management systems – in particular AS/NZS4801, ISO14001 and ISO9001. Be highly articulate with strong leadership and communication skills. Strong integrity with continuous improvement mindset. Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and agile environment. Self-motivated with a demonstrated enthusiastic approach to day-to-day business operations and positive approach to a continually changing work environment.
