Our client is seeking an experienced Land Access & Acquisitions Manager to oversee land access and acquisition processes for large-scale transmission line projects.

Key Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of land access and acquisition for transmission line projects.
Negotiate land access agreements, easements, and acquisitions with property owners.
Coordinate with legal, environmental, and engineering teams to support project approval processes.
Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements throughout the acquisition process.
Develop risk management strategies for land access issues and acquisition challenges.
Establish and maintain relationships with landowners, local councils, and regulatory bodies.
Manage community consultation processes and address stakeholder concerns effectively.
Oversee the preparation of acquisition contracts and legal documentation.
Provide regular updates to senior leadership on land acquisition progress and timelines.
Resolve land access disputes and manage complex negotiations to secure agreements.
Support project development teams in obtaining land rights for transmission infrastructure.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Qualifications and Experience Bachelor's degree in Property, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in land access, acquisition, property management, or project management, ideally in the utilities or infrastructure sectors.
Proven ability to negotiate and secure land access agreements and easements.
Strong knowledge of Australian property laws and relevant regulatory frameworks.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet critical deadlines.
Experience collaborating with local government bodies, regulatory authorities, and landowners.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
