Temporary full time or part time position – up to 12 months with possible option to extend. The role As the Land Development Officer, you'll assess planning permits referrals, process connection and developer works applications, making impactful decisions that align with industry standards, legal frameworks, and our internal policies. In this role, we'd love your skill set to include a customer focused approach, engaging communication style and sound corporate systems skills. You'll enjoy investigating issues, assessing options and making balanced recommendations to ensure compliance and standards are achieved whilst working as part of the broader team providing best value service. What you'll bring Experience in interpreting and applying legislative, regulatory and policy requirements and guidelines to make objective decisions to complex issues. History of working effectively as part of a team and contribute to the team's success. Demonstrated ability to train, provide guidance and mentor others. Well-developed oral and written communication and presentation skills, including the provision of complex information to a diverse range of audiences.
