Your Role The key areas of accountability in the role are:.
Define the target state vision and strategy for systems, processes, information, and technologies within the domain.
Provide architectural governance and contribute to the creation of a technical roadmap for the data domain.
Lead proof of concept and minimum viable product ideation with a focus on data-driven solutions.
Own end-to-end solution design aligning with business strategy, emphasizing data management, analytics, and governance.
Identify opportunities and mitigate risks in solution architecture, particularly in data integration, quality, lifecycle management, and compliance.
Collaborate with technology vendors and product teams to create roadmaps developing capabilities aligned with the desired target state.
Strategy Execution and Product: Contribute to technology roadmaps with a focus on data platforms, tools for analytics and ML/AI Collaborate with solution developers to ensure product implementations align with strategic technology roadmaps and best practices in data architecture.
Ensure business-level planning considers data as a critical asset within the corporate strategic roadmap Contribute to quarterly Objectives and Key Results, aligning with product and tech health metrics and using these to drive engineering uplift across Flybuys.
Drive technology choices for engineering products, adhering to agreed technology strategy.
Leadership and Organisation: Coach and manage the performance and career development of a team of Enterprise Solution Architects within the data domain.
Lead team members in applying agile and lean architecture practices.
Your Experience Several years of experience as a Principal, Domain, or Enterprise Architect leading teams.
Ability to lead a team in creating solution designs in collaboration with engineering and product.
Experience in modern data architectures and their integration with channels and operational systems.
Ability to articulate and drive technology roadmaps for a technology or business domain.
Experience with cloud and Saa S-based architectures.
Ability to abstract concepts, extract patterns, and use these for decision-making.
Excellent stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
Extensive experience in data-specific skill sets such as data strategy, data modelling, data integration, data warehousing, and data security, analytics and AI.
Exposure to technologies like Snowflake, DBT, Hightouch, AWS, and Azure is advantageous.
