Together we Make the Difference #teammelbourne How this position will Make the Difference to City of Melbourne: The Lead - Infrastructure Services is the primary technology expert in the planning, support and troubleshooting of City of Melbourne (Co M)'s core technology systems.
The position is responsible for ensuring that the infrastructure is built and operated in a manner that provides the availability, performance, and security necessary for Co M business areas to deliver the necessary level of services to our customers.
The role will lead a team of technical specialists (10 direct reports) and is accountable for managing staff and partners to deliver the required services across BAU Operations on a 24x7 basis.
The role will also work collaboratively with Project Managers to ensure the delivery of technical projects meets the business demands.
You will also be a sound leader who demonstrates commitment in delivering excellent customer service including the ability to understand customer needs, and foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
What you will bring: Leadership capability including leading by example and consistently working towards a constructive culture.
Experience in managing technical teams and leading the management of team workflow and the allocation of work.
Extensive knowledge and experience with infrastructure solutions.
Strong stakeholder management skills with proven track record in establishing and nurturing partnerships in a complex environment.
