The Leading Hand will manage a team ensuring everyone performing work, or affected by work, knows exactly what is going on before and after it happens and is well informed ahead of time on what work is occurring, and how it will affect them. Undertake unplanned repairs/tasks in a timely manner to required standards. Conduct maintenance & servicing. Accurate & timely completion of designated job & service records. Record machine and service data as required Maintain and record an accurate timesheet of events Operation of Safety "tag out/lock out" process. Risk & hazard assessment as associated with allocated tasks. Liaise with & assist any specialist contractors or providers engaged by the Business with respect to mechanical works, as appropriate. Supervise the work of the tradesman's assistant or any junior maintenance personnel when allocated with these persons.
