About the role As the Leading Hand for the Northeast Shepparton Workshop, you will be at the forefront of ensuring smooth operation and productivity.
Your role will encompass leadership, technical experience and advice, and organisation skills to oversee the maintenance and repairs on vehicles in our workshop.
Key responsibilities will include: Ability to manage/run shifts productively and effectively.
Quality control checks prior to collection.
Offering technical guidance to the team.
Liaising with upper management.
Ability to think critically and problem solve.
Undertaking routine service and repairs when required.
About You Previous experience in a similar role.
Strong technical ability with proficiency in diagnosing and repairing heavy vehicles.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritise, delegate effectively, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of safety standards, compliance, and industry best practices.
Cert III in Heavy Vehicle Mechanical Technology.
