Who are we? The Faculty of Science Engineering & Built Environment is dedicated to being at the forefront of teaching, learning, creativity, social development, and ground-breaking research and discovery.
This role will specifically be working within the School of Life and Environmental Sciences.
As a Lecturer in Forensic Science, you will: Lead teaching teams for undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) programs to enhance student learning and outcomes.
Design, conduct, and lead high-quality research and creative activities, generating impactful outputs in forensic science.
Play a key role in delivering units for the Bachelor of Forensic Science and Bachelor of Forensic Science (Honours).
Assist with teaching in other Science courses within the School, as required.
Develop a strong research program in the field of forensic science.
To be successful, you'll have: Ph D in a relevant discipline and/or other relevant qualifications and experience Excellent record of scholarly learning and teaching in UG and/or PG programs, including innovative curriculum design Emerging reputation in research and scholarship through publications and/or exhibitions and/or success in obtaining external research funding.
Ability to contribute to communities through research.
Capacity to contribute to leadership of research and administration.
