Step into this newly created role as the Legal Education Program Lead, where you'll drive the development and delivery of our legal education programs, aligning them with our Strategic Legal Capability and Performance Plan. About the Role: Reporting to the newly created Legal Education Program Manager, the Legal Education Program Lead will work closely with legal experts and stakeholders to design, deliver, and enhance our legal education curriculum, supporting our staff in developing legal excellence and expertise. You will oversee a variety of programs, including our Legal Traineeship Program, Early Career Lawyer Program, and Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Program. Your responsibilities include: Developing and managing the OPP's legal education curriculum to support strategic priorities. Delivering and enhancing legal education content, collaborating with internal subject matter experts and external providers to ensure quality and relevance. Managing key programs such as the traineeship program, early career lawyer program, and components of induction to ensure a positive educational experience for legal staff. Promoting innovative education methods to ensure engaging, high-quality learning experiences. Collaborating with stakeholders to maintain updated knowledge management resources and support the legal education curriculum. About You: To succeed in this role, you'll bring: Strong knowledge of indictable criminal law and procedure in Victoria. Proven experience in managing and facilitating legal education programs aligned with organisational goals. Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. A high level of emotional intelligence and relationship-building skills to engage productively with stakeholders. A creative mindset with a drive for professional excellence and continuous improvement in legal education. You must be an Australian Lawyer with a current Victorian Practising Certificate.
