We plan, design, build, own, and operate the cold storage facilities with our own people! The Opportunity WE ARE EXPANDING! As such, we require multiple Maintenance Techs from mid to senior levels! If you're a Grade A Electrician and have worked in an Industrial environment, get in touch! Located in the west of Melbourne, our teams work hard with a common goal of delivering food safety by efficiently and effectively resolving any arising problems, thinking outside the box to troubleshoot whilst maintaining a safe working environment.
In this role you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of equipment in various applications, allowing you to expand your skillset on state-of-the-art technology.
You will be hands-on and collaborate with a team of both Technicians and Operators to ensure the automated facilities and systems have maximum performance and availability.
Responsibilities will include: Preventative and corrective maintenance on automated systems, which include working in both electrical and mechanical areas Electrical and mechanical fault finding, with troubleshooting on automated systems for equipment such as storage and retrieval cranes, shuttles, and buffer systems Assisting the operation to ensure maximum system availability Working towards increasing equipment reliability by continuously improving and initiating processes and support Responding efficiently to breakdown conditions to minimise equipment downtime Communicating extensively with key stakeholders: Operations and Planning teams Ensuring OHS, Environmental and Quality compliance to an uncompromising level The ideal candidate will have: A mechanical aptitude and industrial work experience of more than 3 years Be comfortable working some of the time in a cold store (-23 degrees) environment While training will be provided on our WMS, computer competency is vital Excellent verbal and written communication skills Physically fit and capable of working at heights High motivation and enthusiasm 4 on 4 off roster, rotating Day and Nights.
