SUPERVISOR/MANAGER: General Manager MAIN DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Study project/task specifications from blueprints, drafts and other documents to determine the tools and materials needed.
Observe and inspect machines and tools to ensure proper functioning.
Start and operate production/warehousing machinery, and oversee correct operation to ensure safe and effective use.
Check finished products for proper compliance, and measure and test assembly of finished parts to ensure accurate construction.
Report any malfunctions and errors in the equipment, and recommend repairs and/or replacement if necessary.
Respond quickly to fault notification.
Initiate orders for parts and tools.
Carry out planned maintenance to equipment to schedule.
Maintain standards of health and safety and security in the work environment.
Maintain knowledge and skills relevant to work role.
Undertake training in quality assurance related areas as required under compliance requirements, and as directed by Company's management.
Work with hand tools and basic light machinery such as plant vehicles, and small diggers.
Ensure a safe environment for staff and clients by adhering to safety and health regulations.
Ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times.
Exercise loyalty, good judgement, and discretion regarding confidential issues.
Diary management for record keeping, task actioning and drafting.
Check finished products for proper compliance in relation to HACCP and correct operation of machinery and equipment.
Release of machines back into production.
Qualifications: Certificate 3 in Electrotechnology would be desirable.

Experience in related industry as a Maintenance worker.

HACCP and its application in the processes used with production and warehousing equipment and machinery.

Documentation: Induction records, contractor's licenses, POs, hot work permits, work instructions.
Undertake training as required.
Monthly reports and meet CAPEX budgets.
At least two quotes on each CAPEX item and major repairs.
