As a family-owned and operated business, they have been producing high-quality desserts for over 35 years.
With the business expanding, they are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join and lead the maintenance team.
Requirements: Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications in fields such as Mechanical Engineering, Fitting and Turning, or Welding/Boilermaking.
At least 10 years of work experience in the trade.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a food and beverage manufacturing facility or a similar high-risk manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated experience in leading a team.
Strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience with equipment and machinery used in large-scale production.
Responsibilities: You will play an active role within the maintenance team, gaining a deep understanding of the equipment while being responsible for resource allocation across broader maintenance tasks, including preventative, intrusive, and breakdown maintenance activities.
You will need to effectively manage your team's resources to maintain equipment, plant, and property to ensure optimal operations.
Strict compliance with GMP, FSQP, and OH&S standards, policies, and procedures is essential, and all work must be properly documented and recorded in the relevant systems.
You should have demonstrated experience in a food or other high-risk manufacturing environment, supported by relevant trade or university qualifications, as well as experience in leading a team.
