About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and versatile Cost/Management Accountant to join our dynamic team.
In this role, you will partner closely with senior stakeholders, such as the Operations Director, to provide critical financial insights that support decision-making and business performance.
You'll play a key role in cost analysis, building bills of material, managing margins, budgeting, and forecasting, while also being hands-on with day-to-day accounting tasks.
Key Responsibilities Partner with Senior Stakeholders: Collaborate with the Operations Director and other senior leaders to provide financial analysis, support decision-making, and drive improvements in business performance.
Cost Analysis & Management: Develop and maintain accurate bills of materials (BOM) for various products.
Conduct margin analysis to ensure profitability and identify cost-saving opportunities.
Oversee the preparation and review of budgets and forecasts , ensuring they align with business objectives.
Financial Reporting & Insights: Provide in-depth variance analysis for actual vs.
budgeted costs.
Track and report on key financial metrics, focusing on operational efficiency and cost control.
Accounts Payable & Receivable (AP/AR) (10% of the position): Assist with AP/AR tasks , including invoice processing, reconciling supplier statements, and customer payments as needed.
Ensure timely payment processing and cash flow management in alignment with business requirements.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Compliance & Audit: Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and assist with audits as needed.
Key Requirements Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CA qualification preferred).
Proven experience in cost accounting, management accounting, or financial analysis within a manufacturing or operations-focused environment.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to develop cost models, build BOMs, and perform margin analysis.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
Comfortable with hands-on accounting tasks, including AP/AR.
Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at senior levels.
