Professional development opportunities with a defined personalised annual budget Access to flexible working arrangements, which include working from home arrangements You will work in a tight-knit, supportive team to ensure you succeed in your role YOUR ROLE The Manager, Brand and Creative Services reports to the General Manager, Strategic Communications and Engagement, and leads a team responsible for the development and delivery of creative content for internal and external audiences across all channels – digital, print and face to face - that enhances MACS' brand and supports its strategic and operational goals.
The appointee is accountable for the performance of MACS' social media and websites and provides expert, strategic advice and tactical delivery support to business partners in the Strategic Communications team and to internal customers across the organisation.
WHAT YOU WILL DO Together with the General Manager and communication peers, contribute to MACS' communication, stakeholder, and employee engagement strategies Lead, mentor, and support the Brand and Creative Services team, embedding a high-performing, collaborative culture that embraces continuous improvement and innovation Develop and oversee creative content for all digital, print, online and face to face channels, ensuring brand compliance and alignment with business objectives Lead social media strategy, including implementation, performance evaluation, reporting and growth Oversee and maintain an up-to-date central content repository, including image and video libraries Produce key corporate publications including MACS' Annual Report.
Monitor national and global trends in digital communications, guiding the team to deliver contemporary, impactful and measurably best-practice services and outcomes ABOUT YOU Tertiary qualifications in journalism, marketing, advertising or a relevant discipline, with an appropriate depth of professional experience Proven leadership success inspiring and coaching teams to deliver high-quality outcomes Deep expertise in content creation including visual storytelling, digital communications, brand management and graphic design Strong ability to influence and innovate in dynamic and ambiguous environments.
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills to meet tight deadlines Comprehensive knowledge and skills in data and analytics, with demonstrated ability to use insights to enhance decision-making and outcomes Collaborative team player with hands-on experience creating and delivering integrated multi-channel content Brand or marketing agency or digital journalism experience would be well regarded Note: MACS is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.
The successful candidate must hold or acquire, and maintain a Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) and/or Working with Children Check, and must be willing to obtain and maintain a National Criminal History Check.
Candidates must hold full Australian Working Rights, and provide evidence of this.
