We are looking for a high-calibre business manager to join the Asia-Pacific Tax operations team.
This team is responsible for several strategic workstreams established to deliver competitive growth for the Tax Service Line, and to drive client service excellence across our Tax Sub-Service Lines and APAC geographies.
This role will involve working closely with the Asia-Pacific Tax Leadership and several business functions to achieve greater operational efficiency and success.
Your key responsibilities Support the articulation and rollout of APAC Tax Strategic initiatives including developing the objectives, strategies and plans to achieve the Next Wave ambition.
Analyzing and evaluating EY programs, initiatives, systems and structures to improve process design and discussing opportunities for improvement with key stakeholders.
Preparing and recommending proposals to improve procedures and workflows and address organizational challenges.
Assisting to implement approved recommendations and drafting the associated documentation and communications to facilitate change and adoption.
Collaborating with Global, APAC and the other executives in the extended Tax network to facilitate alignment, benchmarking and sharing of best practices.
Skills and attributes for success To qualify for the role you must have: Degree qualified in Finance, Accounting, Business, Commerce, or related discipline.
6-10 years' experience in a similar role.
Strong interpersonal skills – ability to work alongside and gain the trust and respect of a wide range of stakeholders at all levels of seniority.
Experience in program management or implementation of new initiatives and driving change across geographies.
Ability to quickly build knowledge of the APAC Tax business, particularly the key priorities, structure, internal audience, core offerings and our clients' issues.
Ideally, you'll also have: Experience working in a cross-border team.
