The single most important goal of AMAH is to create an environment that facilitates clinical recovery, supports individual recovery efforts and strives to minimise service system barriers to the recovery process. What you'll be doing The Operations Manager, Older Adult Service will be responsible for coordination of the designated older persons services ensuring the workforce is available and supported to provide expert treatment, care and support and that clinical activity is evidence based, accessible and coordinated. This position works in partnership with the Deputy Director of Operations, and the Department Director, Adult and Older Adult and Head Older Adult Service to facilitate operational planning and financial management ensuring resource allocation for safe, effective and appropriate delivery of services across Inpatient and community settings. This incumbent will also contribute to nursing leadership within AMAH and will work closely with the Deputy Director of Nursing. Services include: Mobile Aged Psychiatry Service (MAPS) (Based at St Kilda Road Clinic) Baringa Acute Older Adult Inpatient Unit (located Alfred Hospital campus) Aged Consultation and Liaison Psychiatry (located Caulfield Hospital) Critical external partnerships include Rehabilitation and Aged Care Services, Aged Care Residential care programs, community health services and general practitioners. About you Approved tertiary qualifications and registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia via AHPRA Extensive clinical experience in aged mental health desirable.
