About the Role A great opportunity now exists for an experienced Manager People and Change (Chief People Officer) to drive change and organisational performance.
Working closely with the executive team and leaders across the organisation, this is a key strategic leadership role for a forward-thinking leader to join an evolving organisation during an exciting time of change and transformation.
Reporting to the Executive Director Corporate Development, this position is responsible for the strategic and operational People and Change portfolio to ensure alignment with overarching service objectives and strategies.
Leading a team across health, safety and wellbeing, Workcover and injury management, human resource services, payroll, employee relations, learning and development, and managing a budget of more than $3 million p/a, key responsibilities and deliverables include: Successful negotiation of enterprise-wide agreements.
Significantly lift organisational capacity through the implementation of improvement metrics.
Drive consistency of feedback for performance development plans across the organisation.
Improve and implement a robust OH&S roadmap.
Drive key projects around process and people efficiencies.
Support the executive team and people leaders around agreed measures and KPIs, driving a best practice culture of delivery.
Team leadership and mentoring.
About You To excel in this position, you will have: A tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), Organisational Development, and substantial experience and skills leading teams in the delivery of people and change services.
Successful Enterprise Bargaining Agreement negotiation that you have led from end to end.
Demonstrated expertise in Organisational Development including the development and implementation of performance frameworks and leading cultural change initiatives.
Highly developed strategic and problem-solving skills, coupled with an achievement drive, centered around consultation and engagement.
Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities to ensure departmental communications are tailored to the needs of a broad range of audiences and literacy levels.
Experience engaging diverse communities with varying customer and employee needs.
An energetic, optimistic, and adaptable mindset.
