About the Role: The position of People Services Manager is a full-time permanent opportunity based out of the CBD office.
The role will be responsible for leading our People Services function, overseeing payroll, people processes, systems, and people metrics.
This position will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of their people and culture service through innovation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities: Provide effective values-based leadership to the People Services team ensuring accountability, performance, and well-being expectations are in place, measurable, and met.
Proactively plan and manage for the effective provision and continuous improvement of payroll and people services and advice to meet best practice, public service, and legal requirements.
Determine and establish regular people metrics, reporting, and insights that drive workforce planning and inform effective workforce decisions.
Develop and implement ongoing guidance to improve manager capability and accountability for key people requirements and processes.
Ensure the functionality and integrity of our systems, including CHRIS21, Springboard and ELMO.
Develop and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with internal customers, ensuring expectations and deliverables are effectively met.
About You: You will bring strong leadership experience in HR or shared services, with a focus on delivering people-centric operational systems, processes and advice.
Along with this: You have a proven track record in managing payroll and people services delivering process improvement and are passionate about the value of data insights in decision-making.
High knowledge / experience with systems like CHRIS21 or ELMO, will be highly regarded.
Experience in the public sector or legal sector will be highly regarded.
