Matters prosecuted by the DPP and the OPP involve serious crimes or matters that are of significance to the fair and effective operation of the Victorian criminal justice system.
The OPP consists of the Solicitor for Public Prosecutions and a staff of approximately 475 providing legal and corporate support to the DPP, the Chief Crown Prosecutor and Crown Prosecutors in the exercise of their independent roles in the criminal justice system.

About the Role: In this newly refreshed, high impact role, you will be responsible for leading our People Services function, overseeing payroll, people processes, systems, and people metrics.
You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our people and culture service through innovation and continuous improvement.
You'll work collaboratively with stakeholders across the OPP to develop and deliver people-centred processes that align with our strategic priorities.
As a custodian of our people data, you will also ensure the functionality and integrity of our systems, including CHRIS21, Springboard and ELMO.

Key Responsibilities: Lead the People Services team, ensuring high-performance and accountability.
Enhance people services through automation, service design, and process innovation.
Drive effective data governance and ensure compliance with Victorian Public Service and other relevant regulations.
Deliver key people metrics and reporting to support workforce planning and business decision-making.
Work collaboratively with other corporate services functions to integrate and optimise systems.
About You: You bring strong leadership experience in HR or shared services, with a focus on delivering people-centric operational systems, processes and advice.
You have a proven track record in managing payroll and people services delivering process improvement and are passionate about the value of data insights in decision-making.
Experience in the public sector or legal sector, and with systems like CHRIS21 or ELMO, will be highly regarded.
