The Programming & Content Curation Manager, reporting to the Sr.
Manager of Programming & Content Curation, will help oversee daily planning and tracking of Disney+ slate updates and manage a small team of curation executives, responsible for on-service merchandising.
Key responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day tracking of slate updates within the content planning lifecycle, coordinating with key stakeholders (including executives).
Drive editorial merchandising and promotion strategies.
Create high-impact, curated programming events that leverage TWDC brands and franchises.
Partner with internal teams to monitor and communicate programming intent for the content slate.
Oversee part of the on-service merchandising, ensuring the service is updated each day, and more frequently for live content, to reflect programming priorities.
Prepare summaries, presentations, and status reports for key stakeholders and executives.
Communicate campaign plans and recaps to internal teams and cross-functional partners.
Partner with TWDC marketing and global programming teams to ensure all priorities are coordinated appropriately.
Assist with day-to-day global framework management, communication workflow with global teams, campaign calendars, and content programming tools.
Leverage CMS, data, and other tools (Excel, Google Workspace, etc.) to support day-to-day responsibilities.
Leverage market and behavior data, audience research to drive data and analytics that determine effective programming strategies.
Drafting and copy editing program descriptions for on-platform metadata.
This role will be required to some evenings and weekends in line with programming and scheduling requirements and may be required for out of hours calls with our Global Teams.
Flexible working arrangements and time in lieu will be provided where needed.
Experience required: Minimum 5 years of experience in digital media and entertainment, with SVOD or Linear TV experience, focusing on content strategy, slate management, content curation, and/or project management.
2-3 years experience leading people.
Experience with content planning tools; Airtable preferred.
Proficiency in Excel, Google Docs, and Google Sheets.
Tertiary Qualification Preferred.
