In this leadership role, you will manage the RTO Governance team and ensure adherence to state and federal legislative and regulatory compliance and reporting requirements at GOTAFE. This position involves designing and innovating compliance systems, providing authoritative advice to educational leaders, and overseeing internal and external audits. You will foster collaborative relationships with state and federal regulators, ensuring that compliance is embedded as a fundamental part of educational practices. As the successful candidate you will have: In-depth knowledge and experience in designing and innovating education compliance and reporting systems, ensuring alignment with legislative and regulatory requirements. Strong ability to provide authoritative advice to educational leaders and management, ensuring clarity and consistency in compliance practices. Experience managing third-party arrangements and contracts, effectively mitigating risks associated with external partnerships. Proven experience leading and managing internal and external audit processes and resulting action plans. Excellent communication skills to manage government notifications and policy amendments, ensuring effective dissemination of information within the organization. A relevant tertiary qualification. If you are successful in this role you will be required to provide: A current Police Check (date of issue is to be no more than 6 months prior to commencement date) A current Working with Children Check - Employee (or proof of application) A current Driver's Licence (Car). The salary range for this position is $131,000 - $142,000 TRP.
