Job Description Location: Hybrid | Melbourne, South Eastern Region (Ringwood, Cranbourne, Narre Warren, Healesville and more) Contract: Full-time Monday to Friday Compensation: Up to $55.91 per hour About the Opportunity: This role will lead a suite of innovative Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) programs as part of EACH's integrated Mental Health and AOD stream which includes residential, community-based and dual diagnosis services.
This is a pivotal moment for EACH, as we have aligned our Mental Health and AOD services to create operational efficiencies, drive innovation and position ourselves as a leader in holistic, end-to-end services.
As Manager, you will work across key AOD services and lead the implementation of cutting-edge models of care.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, manage and support the delivery of specialist AOD services, including programs such as Reconnexion (benzodiazepine dependency), EACH Residential AOD Rehabilitation, and WEAVE (dual diagnosis).
Collaborate with the Program Stream AOD Manager and other senior leaders across EACH to explore growth opportunities and operational efficiencies.
Engage in sector-wide reforms, working to integrate AOD and Mental Health services, and drive high-quality outcomes for service users.
Foster relationships with universities such as Monash and Deakin, seeking research opportunities to strengthen service delivery.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and supervision to team leaders, fostering a culture of excellence.
Oversee budgets, ensuring services are efficient, compliant with policies and procedures, and well-positioned for sustainable growth.
Who You Are: You are an experienced leader in the AOD sector with a strong understanding of both residential and community-based models of care.
Your ability to collaborate across multiple teams, engage with stakeholders and drive operational excellence will ensure EACH's Specialist AOD Services continue to thrive.
Your Skills & Experience: Extensive experience in the AOD sector with knowledge of current trends, legislation and best practices.
Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and deliver client-centered services.
Excellent communication, risk management and problem-solving skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate teams, foster innovation and drive service excellence.
Experience managing budgets and seeking new funding opportunities.
Qualifications Relevant qualifications in AOD, Social Work, Allied Health or a related field.
A postgraduate qualification in leadership or management is highly regarded.
Experience in managing residential facilities is desirable.
